Overview
The TM Series Drum Mixer is a sealed, 4-blade, turbine drum mixer ideal for mixing or blending mild corrosives, solvents, or flammables of light to medium viscosity up to 1,000 cP. Typical applications include the mixing/blending of dyes, inks, paints, stains, mild corrosives, solvents and flammables.
The TM Drum Mixer has a tube length of 102cm and is constructed from 316SS. Fluid is pulled into the top of the mixer tube and discharged under pressure at the bottom in a continuous blending cycle. The top-to-bottom mixing action allows the rapid suspension of settled solids.
Various motor options are available:

- Air Motors
Air motors are lightweight and easy to handle. They operate from a user-supplied compressed air source and so performance is dependent on the system setup. Variable speed is available from a supplied control valve. The air motor is provided with muffler and control valve. Since an air motor is a non-electrical device, its use reduces the possibility of explosion from igniting flammables/combustibles.
